Meet Kathi

K. Bradley (formerly Kathi Nidd) is the author of the mystery thrillers “Claire, Departed” (2024) and “Snowdrifts” (2016). She is currently at work on two additional novels set in the same fictional city, expanding her Millerton Mysteries series, as well as a science fiction novel.

Her poetry has appeared in publications by The Poetry Institute of Canada, Polar Expressions Publishing, Haunted Waters Press, and Quills Magazine. She is also the creator of “Fuzzball’s Christmas Eve Adventure” and “Fuzzball’s Enormously Big Little Brother”, with 100% of proceeds donated to animal shelters. Her short fiction stories have been featured in anthologies, including “Seven Deadly Pens” Volumes I, II and III and “A Write Christmas”. She was also the winner of the Blue Moon Publishing’s contest and was subsequently published in their anthology “Romancing the Story”.

In addition to her own writing, Bradley works with emerging and established writers, offering manuscript reviews, developmental editing support, and creative coaching. She is particularly drawn to helping writers find clarity in their work and confidence in their voice. She views writing not only as a craft, but as a therapeutic practice, one that allows people to process experience, make meaning, and reconnect with themselves.

With a background in healthcare, Bradley brings a nuanced understanding of the human side of life to her fiction, creating characters that are both compelling and authentic. She believes writing is a meaningful, ongoing practice that continues to shape how we understand ourselves and the stories we tell.

She lives in Ottawa with her spouse, an elderly, all-knowing pug, and a relentlessly curious pug puppy.
